Kukke Shri Subramanya Temple:
This is one of the most important religious places in Karnataka. It is located in a village called Subrahmanya. Lord Karthikeyan (Elder son of Lord Shiva) is worshiped there. It is very famous for Kaalasarpa dosha rituals and lots of people visit for this reason.
This temple is surrounded by mountains and natural greenery. Temple is situated at the bank of the river called Kumaradhara and most of the people take bath there before entering the temple.

Ashlesha Bali puja is one of the important pujas which is being performed there for Kaalasarpa dosha. Per family Rs. 400 charges need to be paid for this puja.

One belief is that, to get the maximum benefits of the rituals performed, we need to come back to our home after performing the pooja / rituals. We should not visit other temple or some one else house.
