   Petrovaradin Fortress @ Novi Sad ( Serbia) Petrovaradin Fortress is a beautiful fortress located at the bank of river Danube in  Petrovaradin,  Novi Sad (Serbia). It was constructed in 1692 - 1780. It has many tunnels and  16 kilometers of underground countermine system.  In 1991, It was recognized as a Cultural-Historical Units of Great Importance list of the Republic of Serbia. It has great historical importance dating from 19,000 to 15,000 BC. There is also a very big clock which is visible from a far distance.
