Shree Ghrineshwar Jyotirlinga Temple@ Ellora (Maharashtra)

  Shree Ghrineshwar Jyotirlinga :  Shree Ghrineshwar Jyotirlinga temple is one among 12 Jyotirlinga in India. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It has references in Shiva Puran. It is one of the very important pilgrimages for Hindus.  This temple is located in Ellora under Aurangabad district in Maharashtra. Between the 13th to 18th centuries, the temple was destroyed by the Mughals multiple times and it was rebuilt. The current structure was built in the 18th Century by Ahilyabai Holkar.  Its structure is South Indian style made of red marbles.   Ellora Caves:  Ellora is a marvel of Engineering that was made during AD 600 to 1000. Its construction approach was not from bottom to top but from top to bottom. in another way, its construction started from the top and came down to the bottom.     Sri Kshetra Jai Bhima Shankar Jyotirlinga:  Sri Kshetra Jai Bhima Shankar temple is one among 12 Jyotirlinga in India.
