The Art of Leaving Internation Center: 

The Art of Living International Center is the headquarter of The Art of Living foundation. It was established in 1986 by Sri Sri Ravishankar (Guru Ji). This is one of the best tourist destinations in Bangalore.  

This is one of the best places for Yoga and Meditation training and practice. Sudarshan Kriya is one of the best courses offered here. As it is the International center, people from different country visits there in large number to participate in a different program.

There are different types of Yoga for different people and their needs.  

  • Corporate Program - For Working professionals
  • Medha Yoga - For Adults
  • Utkarsha Yoga - For Children
  • Sri Sri Yoga - Specially designed based on individual needs.

Below are some of the important places inside the Campus

  • Vishalakshi Mantap: Its design is very beautiful which looks like while lotus. At night it looks, even more, better when lights are on. This is the main center for Yoga. 
  • Ayurveda hospital: Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science & Research Hospital is one of the best Ayurvedic hospitals and research centers. 
  • Sri Sri Panchakarma: Meditation center
  • Shopping center: You will find almost all groceries, clothes, books, etc. 
  • Food Center: Tasty vegetarian food, snacks, Juices etc


The Art of Living Visiting Timing:  

General Visit: 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM Every day
Satsang: 6:30 PM onwards (Monday to Saturday)
               4:00 PM onwards (Sunday)


Best time to visit: All time. 

Entry Fees:  No. You have to pay if you participate in residential courses and other programs. Different programs(Courses) have different charges.

There are many special occasion or function celebrated inside the ashram which includes
  1. while guruji is available in ashram people to visit in huge number to attend evening Satsang.
  2. Every Guru Purnima people visit in large number.
  3. Maha Shivaratri celebrated there in a grand way. 
  4. Sri Sri Ravishankar (Guru Ji) birthday

Parking Places: Huge parking place is available inside the campus. Few dedicated parking place is available even outside campus. You have to pay parking charges. 
 

How to reach  The Art of Living ashram: 

By Metro: The nearest Metro station is Yelchanhalli which comes on the green line toward Kanakpura road. The frequency of Metro train is good from Majestic. The Art of Living Ashram is around 11 km from here and one can hire Autos or taxis which come around Rs. 200 to Rs 250. You can even catch the 211 or 214 bus no outside from Yelchanahalli Metro station.
 
Buses: There is a government bus stop next to the main gate. The frequency of buses is not very good but maybe once in 20 to 30 min. Most of the time buses are full and you might not get a seat. From Banashankari bus stand you can catch 211 or 214 bus no which will drop you at the ashram gate.
  
Private Taxis/ Autos: The availability of private taxis, Autos are very less near The Art of Living. Using your own transportation is the best option.

  • Yeshvantpur railway station: 34 km

Accommodation near The Art of Living: 
Accommodation inside the campus is not available for general visitors but they provide it if you visit there for in-house yoga training or some other spiritual activities. Prior booking is mandatory to get accommodation there. Outside within 5 km of the ashram, multiple hotels and lodges are available. 


Food & Restaurant near The Art of Living:
The Art of Living is situated on the outskirts of Bangalore, only a vegetarian restaurant is available inside the ashram campus. Multiple snacks and juice shops are also available there. Few restaurants are available outside the campus as well.
