ISKCON Temple - Mumbai: 

ISKCON temple in Mumbai is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. It is known as Sri Sri Radha Rasbihari temple also. 

Swamy Prabhu Pada, the founder of ISKCON (Hare Krishna movement), inspired the construction of such a beautiful temple. The land was acquired in 1972 by ISKCON and the temple was constructed in 6 years (1978). 

Prior to land acquisition, there was a small temple called Sri Radha Rasbihari, and ISKCON made it very big maintaining its old name only.

  • Maa Sita
  • Lord Lakshmana

 Temple is situated in the Juhu area on 4 acres of land which is very close to Juhu beach. You will find a nice vegetarian restaurant inside the campus and also the general store from where you can purchase items related to spirituality and a few other items also.

It is a clean and calm place to be there and feel spirituality.

 

ISKCON Temple - Mumbai Timing:  04:30 AM to 01:00 PM & 04:30 PM to 09:00 PM (Everyday).

Best time to visit: All time. During the summer, it's a bit hot.

Parking Places: Finding Parking near The temple is very difficult especially if you are not, aware of the Mumbai locality. Better to use public transport or local taxis.

By Air: The nearest Airport is Chatrapathi Shivaji Internation airport in Mumbai. This is one of the busiest airports in India where multiple flights operate from other Indian cities and a foreign country.


By Rail: The main railway station is Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj terminal in Mumbai. It is well connected with other Indian cities. You can catch buses, Autos, or private taxis to reach the te temple.

Buses: The nearest main bus stand is in Mumbai. You can find multiple buses from different cities in India like Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmadabad, Goa, etc. 

Private Taxis/ Autos: You will find lots of Autos and Taxis here as it is one of the famous tourist destinations in Maharashtra. Here Autos Rickshaw and Taxis are quite cheaper.
