Shakti Sthal @ New Delhi:
Shakti Sthal is the place where our Ex-Prime Minister Indira Gandhi Ji was cremated. This Samadhi is next to Mahatma Gandhi Samadhi and Jawaharlal Nehru Samadhi. Also, other samadhis are nearby like Rajeev Gandhi, Lal Bahadur Shastri, etc.
Shakti Sthal was created in November 1984 after her assassination.
This area is spread over 45 acres and well maintained. Lots of greenery and a place where you can seat in spend time.
This is one of the famous tourist destinations in New Delhi. An ideal place to spend a few hours and remember our great leaders.
Best time to visit: All time. During the summer, it's a bit hot.
