St. Basil's Cathedral :

St. Basil's Cathedral is an orthodox church and a cultural symbol located at Red Square in Moscow (Russia). It was built from 1555 to 1561 and was one of the tallest buildings in Moscow.

The Church was confiscated from the Russian Orthodox community and converted into a museum. Thousands of visitors visit there every day as it is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Moscow (Russia) 

It has a vast history which has seen many changes in the past. This is an ideal place for a day visit and I am sure you will love this place. Around it, you will find many more places to visit so while going there plan for a day-long visit.

Parking Places: Finding a parking place in Moscow is a real tough task and Red Square is one of the busiest places there.
 

How to reach  Red Square: 

Taxis: If you are new to Moscow, better to use Taxis to reach Red Square. You can hire a self-drive taxi but parking is a little problem there.

Metro: Metro is the best option to reach Red Square.  You can catch the Metro to Okhotny Ryad station on the light blue line OR Ploshchad Revolyutsii station on the dark blue line.  You need some local help there.

Buses: Bus facilities are good but I feel it is a little complicated. It depends on which place you want to catch a bus, better to get help from a local. 



Accommodation : 
St. Basil's Cathedral is situated in the center of the city and you will many hotels within 5 km. Hotels are quite costly there.

St. Basil's Cathedral is one of the very famous tourist destinations in Moscow and thousands of visitors visit there every day. You will find many restaurants near it.
