Brindavan Gardens: 

The Brindavan Gardens is a beautiful garden located close to Mysore (12 km). It is situated in Srirangpatna under the Mandya District of the Indian state Karnataka. This Garden is next to Krishnarajasagara Dam also known as KRS Dam built on the holy river Cauvery. Dam wall separates Dam and Brindavan Gardens.

Brindavan Gardens was constructed from 1927 to 1932 by Sir. Mirza Ismail (The Deewan of Mysore). Sir. Mirza Ismail was a garden lover and decided to make something similar to Lalbag which is located in Bangalore and he was successful in it. 

This is one of the very famous tourist destinations near Mysore. Musical Fountain which starts from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM is one of the attractions in Brindavan Gardens along with verities of flowers and greenery across the area.

Visiting Timing:   07:00 AM to 08:00 PM 

Best time to visit: All time. Whether is good throughout the year.

Indian Rail: The nearest railway station is Mysuru Junction in Mysore. It is well connected with Bangalore and other cities. You can use Srirangpata Railway station as well which is around 7 km from Brindavan Garden.

Buses: The nearest main bus station is the Mysore bus stand which is 12 km from Brindavan Garden. It is well connected with major cities.  

  

Airport: The nearest airport is Mandakali Airport in Mysore. It is around 34 km from Brindavan Garden. Flights from various cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Cochin, Chennai, Goa Belgaum, etc run on a regular basis. One can use the Bangalore airport which is around 157 km from Mysore.
