Louvre Museum is an Art Museum and historic monument which is located in the middle of the city called Paris (France). It is the biggest Art Museum in the world. It is also known due to being the home of the Mona Lisa. It is the central Landmark in Paris.

The collections of objects are huge (about 38000) which are spread in 73000 square meters. If you have to see all the objects you require weeks but a minimum of two days is needed to feel the objects shown in the museum. 

It was constructed in the 12th century during the Philip II era. from 1871 to 1891 by the then Emperor Franz Joseph. Another similar building was constructed which was known as the Natural History Museum. 

In 1546, this building was converted a residential place of the present king. Later it was modified many times as per the need.  

Its construction is very huge with a big dome on the top. Its interior looks are very good as well.
