माँ विंध्यवासिनी - Maa Vindhyavasini Temple @ Vindhyachal :

Maa Vindhyavasinin temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Maa Durga. It is situated in a small city called Vindhyachal in the Mirzapur district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Holy river Ganga passes through Vindhyachal and people take a dip before visiting the temple. 

There is a mention of this temple in Markndeya Puran. As per Durga Saptshati, Maa Durga killed the demon Mahishasura. 

This temple is a very famous temple in India and thousands of devotees visit there every day for different rituals like Upnayan Sanskar,  Mundan Sanskar, etc.

This is an ideal place for a two-day visit. You will find other temples around it. Please visit the place and feel the spirituality.

Entry Fees:  No. You have to pay only if you want to perform special rituals. They have different prices for different rituals.
