Shri Chennakeshava swamy Temple:
Sri Chennakeshava Swamy Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Balaji (Vishnu). It is located in a village called Haragadde which is outside Bangalore City. It is around 2 km from Jigni which is a very famous place in Bangalore.
Other than Balaji, you will find other deities inside the campus is

- Murgan (Kartik Dev)

This is an old temple but renovation is done recently and it looks very clean. It is made with stone which gives grand look to the temple.
Temple authorities have displayed a bord for charges of different rituals. You have to pay for those events accordingly.
There is no dress code for devotees but people love being in Indian dress. Photography and Mobile phone inside the temple is not allowed.
Outside the temple, there is a big parking place where you can park your vehicle. If you want to purchase offering items or flowers better to purchase them in Jigni as you will not have many options there.
It's a nice place to be there and I am sure you will love your visit.

Entry Fees: No. You have to only pay if you want to perform some special rituals.

Parking Places: Huge parking area is available near the temple. Parking is free but during special occasions, local people start charging for Parking.
How to reach :
By Metro: Metro station is far. you can choose the electronic city Metro station which is around 10 km. Construction of Metro station on Banargatta road is in progress and once it is ready same can be used.
Buses: Jigni is the nearest main bus stand which is well connected with other parts of Bangalore. Any buses which go from Jigni APC circle towards Anakel (another city in Karnataka) will stop there.
Private Taxis/ Autos: The availability of private taxis, Autos are not good near the temple. Better to hire and use till your travel is over.
