Shri Maatha Chamundeshwari Devasthaana - JP Nagar 8 Phase- Bangalore: 

Shri Maatha Chamundeshwari Devasthaana is a Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Chamundeshwari (Durga). It is situated in JP Nagar 8 Phase, Bangalore. There is a big Pipal tree inside temple campus and you can sit and feel cool air.

Its construction is new and small in size. They have maintained this temple very nicely. Priest (Purohit) there is very friendly and will try to communicate in your language in case you are not comfortable in Kannada. 

This is an ideal temple for daily visits as it is located in a residential area. You are not supposed to touch the deities that are common in any South Indian temple. Also, there is no dress code.

Temple Visiting Timing:  06:00 AM to 11:00 AM & 4:00 PM to 07:30 PM (All Day) During special occasions temple opens for a very long time.

Parking Places: No dedicated parking place but you can park your vehicle on the service road as it is not much crowded. Few two-wheelers can be parked near the temple.
 

How to reach : 

By Metro: The nearest Metro station is Konankunte which comes on the green line toward Kanakpura road. The frequency of Metro train is good from Majestic. Temple is around 2.5 km from here and one can hire Autos or taxis which comes around Rs. 75.  
 
Buses: Nearest local bus stand is Anjanapura. Lots of buses are available from Majestic, Citi Market, Banashankari, etc. Bus stand is 1 km from the  temple.  
  
Private Taxis/ Autos: The availability of private taxis, Autos are very good in Bangalore.

Food & Restaurant:
It is situated in a residential area which is yet to develop but and you will find few small restaurants around it. Darshani type vegetarian food is very famous here.
